Las Terrenas: the name comes from the French word La Terrienne (The landlord). It is a small fisherman/farmer village, located on the north-eastern coast of the Dominican Republic, belonging to the Samaná peninsula.
It is a place that attracts visitors because of its unique, unspoilt beaches, abundant coconut trees, beige sandy, turquoise waters and lush vegetation, so it has clearly become a tourist village. It has small hotels, guesthouses, houses or villas, beach restaurants with a wide range of cuisine offers, shops, supermarkets, offices and shops.
The nightlife is very hectic, guests can discover the Dominican soul, interact with its inhabitants, and learn a little about their customs, culture and history.
